| Latar belakang dan tujuan: Rendahnya kualitas perekonomian, kesehatan, dan pendidikan masyarakat pesantren merupakan latar belakang utama berdirinya lembaga ini pada 15 Februari 1996. Pendirian lembaga ini mempunyai tujuan agar masyarakat pesantren dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan hidupnya, khususnya dalam bidang ekonomi, kesehatan, dan pendidikan. Program: Lembaga ini telah melakukan berbagai kegiatan, seperti pelatihan koperasi pesantren, lokakarya dan seminar koperasi pesantren, pelatihan dan pendidikan pengembangan sumber daya ekonomi pesantren, pelatihan koperasi, asuransi santri pondok pesantren, dan seminar mengenai kompilasi hukum Islam. Publikasi: Menerbitkan Jurnal Santri. Sumber dana: Sumber dana lembaga ini berasal dari iuran dan sumbangan anggota, Pemerintah Daerah Tingkat I Jawa Timur, Departemen Agama, Departemen Keuangan, BTN, IPHI, dan Diantama. Keanggotaan dan wilayah kerja: Lembaga ini tidak menjadi anggota dari organisasi-organisasi lain Wilayah kerjanya di Semarang dan DI Yogyakarta ini. Staf: Lembaga ini memiliki 5 staf tetap, 2 staf profesional, dan 2 staf administrasi. |
Background and purpose: The low quality of the economy, health and education of people in the pesantren community was the background of the creation of LPSP-RMI on 15 February 1996. The purpose of the foundation is enable people in the pesantren community to improve their welfare, notably in the economic, health care and educational fields.
Area and form of activities: LPSP-RMI’s main fields of activity are health care, small enterprises and cooperatives, religious studies, and education. Activities in these fields are carried out in the forms of study, research, survey, education and training, seminar/discussion/workshop, and publication.
Program: The foundation has carried out various activities like training on cooperatives for pesantrens, workshop and seminar on pesantren cooperatives, training and education on the development of economic resources at pesantrens, training on cooperatives, the establishment of the insurance for pesantren students, and seminar on the compilation of Islamic books.
Funding sources: For its activities, LPSP-RMI gets funds from its membership dues and donations, assistance funds from the East Java provincial government, the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the Ministry of Finance, BTN, IPHI and Diantama.
Membership and working area: The foundation, which operates in Semarang and Yogyakarta, is not associated with any other organization.
Staff: To date, LPSP-RMI has 5 full-time staff members, who include 2 professional and 2 administration workers.
